Volunteer Opportunites
We have plenty of ways for you to serve at Stone. Some of our current needs are listed below, but feel free to reach out about any other opportunities that might interest you.-
Cafe
Our café is an excellent way to get your feet wet in serving. Café volunteers help serve breakfast foods and coffee, juice, or water before Sunday worship gatherings (9-9:50am). This is a great place for a friendly face who loves to serve and make people feel welcome!

Usher
Psalm 84:10 says, “I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Ushers have the privilege of being the doorkeepers of the church and meeting and greeting our Stone family and visitors as they enter into God’s house. Although the ushers are some of the most visible servants in the church, they also play a key role in many behind the scenes preparations for our weekly services.

Connect Center
Looking for a great way to serve that can connect you with all kinds of people? Our Connect Center is one of the first points our people see when they walk in, and should always have a warm, welcoming atmosphere that make our first-time guests feel more at ease. At the booth we have church events info, sermon outlines, registration stations, and much more. If you are friendly, outgoing, Jesus-loving, and a part of our Stone family, this ministry may be right for you!

Sunday Kidz
If you're looking for the happiest place on earth, you might find it in our nursery area! Get ready to be bombarded by babies, toddlers, and a bunch of 4 & 5-year-olds who are always looking for some extra love! We believe that whatever we do for the "least of these" (Matthew 25:40) we also do for Christ, and it is our mission to reach people no matter what stage in life they are in. If you are passionate about children, this may be the perfect fit for you

Kidz Zone
The quickest way to reaching the heart of the Father is through serving the little ones we have been called to care for. If you have a heart for kids, we have a spot for you! Serving with the kids requires lots of love, patience, and smiles.

City Church Community Outreach
Our Chicago Life Center Outreach is a great way to reach out into our community. The goal of this outreach is to show the love of Christ by preparing and serving a meal for the 200 people who attend the church service at Chicago Life Center. We go the 2nd Tuesday of the month, September – April.

Meals Ministry
When people are in need of assistance, often due to illness, surgery or injury, volunteers from our Stone family will cook and deliver meals to those in need. This ministry communicates support and love within the body of Christ and our surrounding community.
